This course is geared for supervisory personnel in the microbial remediation industry, as well as specifying consultants, insurance representatives, facilities personnel and other that deal with various aspects of microbial contamination in buildings. Areas that will be covered include worker and occupant health and safety, environmental engineering controls for remediation projects and effective practices for microbial remediation. Also included in the course is information from ACGIH's "Bioaerosols: Assessment and Control", the IICRC "S500 Standard" and the revised 2000 New York City DOH Fungi Guide, along with currents industry information. This course is designed as preparation for the optional American Indoor Air Quality Council's Certified Microbial Remediation (CMRS) exam. A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the course.

The Microbial Investigator class is designed to exhibit your competency. You will review moisture and mold intrusion issues. Toxicology issues and accepted Microbial sampling methodologies will be discussed. The program will prepare anyone involved in a career relevant field of Microbial Investigation and/or Sampling for the closed book certification CMI or CMC exam.
